Clinical Psychologist Opportunity in Disability Services

As we continue to expand, we are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our progressive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychology services to individuals across designated areas, in coordination with the Senior Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Services Manager.
  • Align services with the organizational objectives, service plan, and established professional standards, guidelines, and policies.

Position Details:

  • Salary Scale: 53,021 – 90,771 (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Reporting to: Clinical Services Manager

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychology (acceptable to the organization, recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland, and validated by the Department of Health and Children).
  • Keen interest in advancing disability services.
  • Full, clean, manual driving license.
  • Skills, Competencies, and Knowledge:
  • Commitment to ensuring high standards and promoting a person-centred service.
  • Competence in delivering a professional service.
  • Awareness of current professional issues.
  • Clear understanding of professional ethics.
  • Knowledge of research methods.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Sufficient clinical knowledge and evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to apply knowledge from best practice.
  • Planning and delivering support effectively within a person-centred planning model.
  • Effective information evaluation and decision-making.
  • Display effective interpersonal skills, including collaboration with colleagues, families, carers, etc.
  • Effective team working.
  • Adaptability to change and commitment to continuing professional development.
