Job description

The Company Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of individuals supported by our client, as well as employees and visitors, are managed in compliance with health and safety laws, codes of practice, client’s policies and procedures, and the clients Safety Statement. This cross-functional role necessitates close communication and collaboration with Operations, Human Resources, Clinical, Quality & Standards, Finance, and other departments to guarantee the provision of effective and efficient services.

Salary Scale: €49,041 – €59,914

Location: Skerries, North County Dublin

Hours: 37 hours

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Level 8 / 9 Degree in Occupational Safety and Health Management
  • Minimum of three years working in a Health and Safety Role
  • Excellent knowledge of the Safety, Health and Welfare legislation
  • Full clean, manual driving licence
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications
  • A keen interest in progressing disability services
