Our client in Dublin Port is looking for a Traffic Management Operative to join their team. No experience required as training will be provided.
Traffic Management Operative
- Based in Dublin Port (Docklands).
- Own transport is preferred as shifts may begin outside of the hours of public transport.
- Garda Vetting may apply (you may be working in conjunction with Revenue, Customs, Border Control and An Garda Síochána while in Dublin Port).
- Roster changes between days and nights so you MUST be able to work both shifts. (Not one or the other).
- Day shift is (5am – 5pm) €12.70 per hour(Paid Weekly)
- Night shift is (5pm – 5am) €15 per hour(Paid Weekly)
- O/T shifts are available and paid at a higher rate.
- It’s a 3 day on, 3 day off roster, which means you will be required to work for 3 days at a time (3 days on, then 3 days off, then 3 days back on, then 3 days back off and so on). Each block of 3 days will be the same shift i.e 3 days on the day shift, then 3 days off, then 3 days on the night shift, then 3 days off.
- Paid weekly (Every Friday)
- Overtime ONLY applies when you work a shift that is outside of your rostered shifts. (NOT AFTER 39 HOURS).
Duties to include:
- Manage oncoming traffic to the correct location.
- Ensure the desired flow of pedestrians and vehicles.
- Maintain the expected frequency of interaction of vehicles and pedestrians.
- Provide illustrations of the layout of barriers, walkways, signs, and general arrangements to warn and guide traffic around, past, or through the work site.
- Full uniform will be provided as a successful candidate will work in a front facing role alongside our customers, because of this it is expected that all employee’s conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
