Job Title: Purchasing Manager

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €40,000 – €55,000 per year (DOE)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Join a rapidly growing B2B company that is a leading supplier to the kitchen and furniture industries. We are looking for a dedicated Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and optimize purchasing processes to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and raise purchase orders with various suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received.
• Track and arrange collections efficiently.
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers.
• Manage stock control and conduct regular stock checks.
• Maintain stock cards and ensure housekeeping standards.
• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
• Handle and resolve supplier claims effectively.
• Negotiate contracts and policies with suppliers and haulage companies.
• Prepare purchasing reports and analyse data to improve procurement strategies.
• Approve and process invoices related to purchasing.
• Arrange for the disposal of surplus materials as needed.
• Make informed decisions and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a purchasing/procurement role (preferred).
• Education: Advanced/Higher Certificate or equivalent qualification (preferred).
• Skills: Strong negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Language: Proficiency in English (required).
• Tech-Savvy: Experience using procurement and inventory management software is an advantage.
