General Operative – Order Picker

Job Title: General Operator (Picker) – Chill Section

Location: Grange Castle Business Park, New Nangor Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, D22 T2P7

Job Type: Temporary (April, with potential extension)

Salary: €14.71 per hour (Paid overtime available)

2 Positions Available:

• General Operator 1: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
• General Operator 2: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Off Tuesday and Sunday; Saturday shift is compulsory and non-negotiable)

Job Description:

We are seeking two General Operators (Pickers) to join our Chill Section team in a busy warehouse environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately picking, labelling, and dispatching products while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch following company picking procedures.
• Stack products onto pallets safely and efficiently.
• Label goods accurately in accordance with dispatch requirements.
• Load trucks with orders for delivery to various destinations.
• Follow internal work methods and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Adhere to HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures to ensure food safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the warehouse.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be available and willing to work evenings/nights as per shift schedule.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good standard of English literacy and numeracy.
• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
• Reliable transport to the Grange Castle, Clondalkin location.
