Job Title: Shunter (C+E Licence)
Location: Annacotty Depot
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Salary: €700 gross per week

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Shunter to join our team at the Annacotty depot, Co.Limerick. This role is essential in managing the movement and positioning of our trailer fleet to ensure efficient depot operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely shunt and park trailers around the depot in line with operational requirements
• Control the movement of the trailer fleet within the yard, maintaining an organised and efficient flow
• Adhere strictly to site speed limits and all health & safety regulations
• Follow yard layout and guidelines to minimise risk and ensure a safe working environment for all staff
• Communicate effectively with transport and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
• Carry out vehicle checks and report any faults or damages promptly

Requirements:

• Full C+E driving licence
• Valid CPC and Tachograph card
• Previous experience in a similar shunting or yard-based role is highly desirable
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures in a busy depot environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well under minimal supervision
