Bus Driver – Cork (Full-Time, Permanent)
About the Role
We are seeking professional and safety-focused Bus Drivers to join our team in Cork. This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent pay, benefits, and career progression. Successful candidates will play a key role in providing a reliable and friendly public transport service to passengers across the city and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate buses on scheduled routes across Cork.
- Deliver excellent customer service to passengers.
- Adhere to timetables and operational procedures.
- Handle cash fares and complete end-of-shift cashing in.
- Work across early, middle, and late shifts as part of a rotating roster.
- Maintain professional standards in line with company policies, including wearing full uniform.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Irish category D driving licence.
- Must be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement).
- Strong focus on safety, responsibility, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work across a 5/7 roster including weekends and varying shifts.
- Garda vetting may be required.
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive weekly salary:
- Year 1: €802.99
- Years 2–3: €845.06
- Years 4–5: €887.58
- Year 6: €929.66
- Standard 39-hour work week, with potential overtime (up to 48 hours).
