Bin Truck Driver – Full-Time, Permanent

Labour Force is recruiting a Bin Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent position on behalf of our client, an industry leader in the Refuse Collection and Waste Management sector.

This role is based in Silliot Hill, Kilcullen, and involves commercial and domestic wheelie bin collections across the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect various waste streams and bins from customer locations along assigned routes
• Ensure company vehicles and property are maintained in a safe, clean, and roadworthy condition
• Supervise helpers on route, ensuring work is completed safely and professionally
• Complete daily paperwork and vehicle safety checks
• Comply with all company policies and initiatives to ensure safe and efficient vehicle operation
• Report any issues or difficulties to the Line Manager
• Show courtesy at all times to customers, members of the public, and colleagues
• Fully cooperate with all company health, safety, and welfare provisions

Key Requirements

• Full C Driving Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Strong understanding of legislation, company policies, and Health & Safety procedures
• Good written and verbal English is essential

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• Saturday prior to Bank Holiday Mondays
• Start time between 6:00am – 7:00am
• Average shift length: 8-10 hours
