About the Company
Our client is a leading Irish distributor of premium products serving the electrical retail, kitchen manufacturing, and joinery sectors. Working with internationally recognised brands, the business has built a strong reputation for product expertise, customer service excellence, and long-term partnerships across Ireland.
With continued growth and expansion within the appliances division, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and customer-focused Business Development & Account Manager to manage an established territory and drive further expansion within the kitchen industry.
The Opportunity
This is a consultative sales role combining account management with proactive business development. You will work closely with kitchen studios, manufacturers, retailers, and trade customers, representing a portfolio of premium appliance brands and developing lasting customer relationships.
This is an established territory with significant growth potential and an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional looking to develop their career within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen relationships with existing customers across the kitchen and trade sectors.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the kitchen appliance and interiors market.
- Manage and grow an established sales territory across the Republic of Ireland.
- Deliver product presentations and provide expert consultation on premium appliance solutions.
- Drive year-on-year sales growth through effective account management and new business generation.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and support.
- Conduct regular customer visits and territory planning activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in sales, business development, account management, or a customer-facing commercial role.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience within kitchen appliances, electrical retail, interiors, construction, or related sectors.
- Interest in design-led products and the home improvement market.
- Third-level qualification.
