Warehouse Operative | Dublin 12

Location: Ballymount, Dublin 12
Salary: €30,000 – €32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Labour Force is recruiting on behalf of a leading distributor supplying premium products to the furniture, kitchen, woodworking, and packaging industries throughout Ireland.

Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join their successful team in Ballymount. While the role is primarily warehouse-based, it also includes some light assembly work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Receiving deliveries and checking goods against documentation
  • Preparing orders for dispatch and assisting with loading activities
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels through stock counts and inventory control
  • Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised, and safe at all times

Assembly Duties

  • Carrying out light assembly work, including drawers and furniture components
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
  • Keeping assembly and work areas tidy and well organised

Team Support

  • Working closely with warehouse, operations, and sales teams
  • Meeting daily productivity targets and deadlines
  • Contributing to a positive and efficient working environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous warehouse experience is essential
  • Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production environments is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Manual Handling Certificate preferred (training can be provided)
  • Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed attitude towards work
