Van Driver & Sanitisation Operative – Dublin 22

Location: Dublin 22
Pay Rate: €15.00 per hour (DOE)
Subsistence: €13.71 up to 10 hours, €33.61 thereafter
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4:00pm (45 hours per week)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 45 hours
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a reliable and customer-focused Van Driver to join a busy delivery operation based in Dublin 22. This role involves multi-drop deliveries of bottled water to customer locations, along with sanitisation and maintenance of water cooler units.

This is a hands-on position requiring excellent driving skills, strong customer service, and a good level of physical fitness due to the manual handling involved.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to offices and commercial customers across Dublin and surrounding areas.
• Handle and deliver 20kg water bottles safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload products using appropriate handling equipment.
• Use a hand truck to transport deliveries.
• Carry out sanitisation of water coolers in line with company hygiene procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and sanitisation visits.
• Complete proof of delivery (POD) documentation and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain clean, organised, and in good working condition.
• Assist with stock rotation and vehicle loading to maximise route efficiency.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.

Requirements

• Full clean Category B driving licence.
• Previous van driving and multi-drop delivery experience.
• Good knowledge of Dublin routes.
• Experience in a customer-facing delivery role is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and good written English.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
• Manual Handling Certificate preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork.
• Must be legally entitled to work full-time in Ireland
