Location: Annacotty Business Park, Limerick (with opportunities in Roscommon and Cork)

Job Description:

LabourForce is recruiting on behalf of our client, a prominent Irish transport, logistics, and distribution company, for experienced Arctic Drivers. This role involves delivering a variety of goods, including silage wrap, containers, and milk powder, primarily to locations in Cork, Dublin, and surrounding areas. The position is based in Annacotty, Limerick, with additional opportunities available in Roscommon and Cork.

Drivers will be provided with a helper to assist with deliveries. This is a physically demanding, busy, outdoor role requiring excellent customer interaction skills and the handling of goods. Responsibilities also include gathering paperwork such as delivery dockets and returning empty barrels.

Candidate Requirements:

• Full CE License.
• Minimum 1-2 years of Arctic driving experience with an established Irish/UK logistics provider.
• Valid Digi Tacho Card.
• Fully compliant with CPC regulations.
• Experience of following routes and time schedules
• Good knowledge of the Irish road network and relevant driving experience on Irish routes.
• In-date manual handling certificate is desirable.
• Ability to perform duties in accordance with the company’s health and safety standards.

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers.
• Effectively resolve issues and queries, escalating to relevant departments when necessary.
• Follow scheduled routes and perform any ad hoc duties as assigned.
• Communicate and report daily to the transport manager.

Benefits:

• €700 per week + €14.01 subsistence = €770 per week.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work on bank holidays.
