Artic Truck Driver (Double Decker)

Location: Clonee, Co. Meath
Salary: €19 – €21 per hour (DOE)
Subsistence: €13.71 up to 10 hours, €33.61 thereafter
Hours: 5 days over 7, with start times between 16:00 and 20:00
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x after 45 hours

Only 2-5 drops per shift
No pallet breaking, handballing, or driver unloading required
Pre-loaded trailer deliveries with minimal manual handling

We are currently seeking experienced CE Drivers to join their transport operation based in Clonee, Co. Meath.

The Role

This position involves operating Double Decker trailers on scheduled delivery routes throughout the Republic of Ireland. Drivers can expect low drop numbers, pre-loaded trailers, and minimal physical handling, allowing them to focus on safe and efficient driving.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate articulated vehicles and Double Decker trailers safely and professionally
• Complete between 2 and 5 deliveries per shift
• Deliver throughout the Republic of Ireland
• Carry out key-holder responsibilities where required
• Return trailers to the Clonee depot following each run
• Complete all transport debrief documentation before the end of the shift
• Adhere to all driving, safety, and compliance regulations
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations

Requirements

• Clean, valid CE Driving Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• CPC completed and up to date
• Minimum 3 years’ articulated driving experience
• Experience operating Double Decker trailers
• Pallet Truck and Tail Lift experience preferred
• Strong understanding of transport compliance and road safety regulations
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
