Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our M&E projects. You will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, managing budgets, and providing valuable insights to support project planning and execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting cost estimates and preparing detailed budgets for M&E projects.
  • Analyzing project specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work.
  • Collaborating with project teams to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitoring project expenditures and ensuring they align with budgetary constraints.
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and identify any variations to the original scope.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms and pricing.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial reports to project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficient in using quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Membership in a relevant professional association is an asset.
