Rigid Driver

Job Title: Rigid Driver (Full-Time, Permanent)

Location: Blanchardstown (covering the Leinster region)

Salary: €33,000 – €35,000 (doe) per annum + €15.41 daily allowance

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00am-1:00pm to 3:00pm, Saturdays required after Bank Holidays

Holidays: 20 days annual leave

Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Rigid Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Operating from our Blanchardstown depot, you will be responsible for delivering goods across the Leinster region. This role involves fixed daily routes, mainly palletised deliveries using tail lifts. Some deliveries may require handballing stock onto a combi for customer fridge deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Daily deliveries to commercial customers across Leinster

* Handling and unloading palletised goods, occasionally transferring by hand to customer fridges

* Ensuring timely and safe deliveries along assigned routes

* Completing daily vehicle checks and maintaining delivery logs

* Adhering to all road safety and tachograph regulations

Requirements:

* Full valid C Licence

* Up-to-date CPC certification

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* Proven experience driving rigid trucks

* Good knowledge of the Leinster region

* Strong time management and customer service skills

* Ability to work early starts and occasional Saturday shifts post-Bank Holiday
