We are currently recruiting a Senior Transport Coordinator to join a Catering Company in Dublin, a global leader in inflight catering and aviation logistics services. Based at the Airport Logistics Park in St. Margaret’s, this role sits at the heart of a fast-paced aviation operation, ensuring flights are catered safely, efficiently, and on time.

The Role
As Senior Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of catering transport operations, supporting daily flight rotations and reacting quickly to last-minute schedule changes. You will play a key role in protecting on-time performance (OTP) while ensuring full compliance with aviation, safety, and transport legislation.
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll act as a central link across airport operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage daily crew rotation and allocation sheets
- Upload and maintain crewing and catering data on FIDS screens
- Manage catering loading plans aligned with daily flight rotations
- Optimise rostering while minimising overtime requirements
- Upload and update catering allocations via BATS, reflecting aircraft swaps and schedule changes
- Ensure full compliance with Working Time Directive (WTD) and RSA driving hours legislation
- Monitor and enforce tachograph compliance
- Identify potential delay risks and implement early mitigation plans
- Act as a central liaison point between OCC, Station Control, Ground Operations, Drivers, and the M50 Garage
- Plan for charter flights and ad-hoc schedule changes
- Support driver roster production and transport office operations
- Manage return-to-work processes and absence documentation
- Oversee accident and incident reporting via Safety Net systems
- Represent catering on daily operational calls and manage delay reporting
- Ensure all flight security documentation is completed and signed
- Lead teams to consistently deliver strong on-time performance
✅ What We‘re Looking For
- Full, clean Category C driving licence, valid CPC and driver card
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in airline, flight catering, or aviation operations
- Ramp or airside experience highly advantageous
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in a high-pressure, time-critical environment
- Strong planning, multitasking, and organisational skills
- Excellent administration and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills
- Experience with AIMS and ASTRAL is an advantage (training provided)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven problem-solving ability with fast, effective decision-making
- Flexible, resilient, and adaptable approach to work
- Fully trained to operate HI-Loader equipment
- Eligible to live and work in Ireland
- Able to meet airport security requirements
