Van Driver (Temporary Contract) | Naas, Co. Kildare

A well-established supplier within the construction and building materials sector is currently seeking an experienced Van Driver to join their team in Naas, Co. Kildare on a temporary basis to cover a period of sick leave.

This is an immediate-start opportunity for approximately 2-3 weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm

Pay Rate

• €16.00 – €17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to construction sites and residential addresses.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the van is maintained to a high standard.
• Follow delivery schedules and provide excellent customer service on site.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements

• Full, valid Category B driving licence.
• Previous experience driving box body vans is essential.
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
• Valid Safe Pass Card.
• Good knowledge of road safety and delivery procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Desirable

• Forklift Certificate.
