Trade Counter & Warehouse Operative

• Location: Ballycoolin
• Salary: €15.62 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends)

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Trade Counter & Warehouse Operative to join our team in Ballycoolin. This role involves a mix of trade counter customer service and general warehouse duties for a company specialising in parts for heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting customers at the trade counter, processing orders, and providing product information.

* Handling stock, including receiving deliveries, storing items, and keeping the warehouse organised.

* Preparing and packing orders for dispatch.

* Operating a counterbalance forklift (preferred but not essential – training may be provided).

* Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained.

Requirements:

Own transport is required due to location. Previous experience in a similar role (warehouse, trade counter, or retail). Strong communication and customer service skills. Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred but not essential). Good level of physical fitness to handle stock movement.
